Nephele: Portfolio Update Sneak Peek

Hallo!

Currently I'm working on updating my portfolio some more. here's a little sneak peek. One of my favorite characters that I've designed is Nephele, from the fairytale Somni that I *cough* haven't finished writing *cough* created. She's 4'10" (shorter than me yay!) and often lets her inner child make decisions for her. Here's the process from sketch to final:

I wanted to keep her design simple because I imagine her being the kind of girl that throws on whatever clothes are closest to her in the morning so she can start the day. She's the opposite of her best friend Marisol in that respect. Nephele is all about the accessories; Marisol usually wears the same ones but is all about the clothes.

Do you have a favorite character that you've designed? Leave a comment and / or a link below and tell me about it!
